This is the web site of the group of Partial Differential Equations and Aplications of the UAB.

The main objectives of the group are the analytical study of PDEs, their qualitative properties, numerical analysis, scientific simulation and its applications. The mathematical problems are suggested by applications.

Currently the group is interested in transport, diffusion and kinetic equations which arise in areas as diverse as mathematical biology, population dynamics, biological evolution, fluid mechanics, transport of charged particles in semiconductor materials and plasmas.

The responsible of the group is José Antonio Carrillo (ICREA-UAB).
