Research interests

My research is developed on the topics of harmonic analysis, geometric measure theory and partial differential equations.

For the first ones, my study is mainly focused on variational inequalities for singular integral operators and its relationship with uniform rectifiability. The variational inequalities were first introduced in the context of martingale theory and dynamical systems, but they have shown to be fruitful in harmonic and geometric analysis, strengthening some classical results and providing new techniques to the subjects.

Concerning the research on partial differential equations, I work on Carleman inequalities, frequency functions and unique continuation problems for solutions of elliptic equations with certain boundary conditions. The Dirac operator, which was introduced to model the evolution of an electron, and its coupling with singular potentials has also attracted my attention during the last years. The potentials under consideration are generated by surfaces, so that singular integral operators come into play.
