IV Seminar on Categories and Applications

This is the fourth of a series of meetings devoted to category theory and applications. It is intended as meeting point for specialists in category theory and related areas as homological algebra, representation theory, or homotopy theory.

The program will include eight plenary talks proposed by the scientific committee:

The program is completed with short communications and posters contributed by the participants.

This edition of the meeting is organized by the Department of Mathematics of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with the collaboration of the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica.

Place and Dates:

Registration fee is 125€. It includes conference coffee breaks, meals, social activities,  and conference dinner. Deadline for registration is May 18, 2007.

Reduced registration fee is 100€ for registrations completed before May 4, 2007.

Financial support:

A limited number of grants are offered, preferably to young participants. Grants will cover housing in a shared student apartment on campus and a reduction of the registration fee to 50€. Deadline for applications is May 4, 2007.
