HOUSING<\/p>\n
Grantees will be staying at\u00a0Vila Universit\u00e0ria<\/a>, which is\u00a0located at the UAB Campus, at walking distance from the faculties, and also to the Bellaterra<\/a> and Universitat Autonoma<\/a>\u00a0stations. Vila residents are allowed to use the open air swimming pool in Vila, as well as the UAB\u00a0gym<\/a>, and many other services.<\/p>\n Lecturers and speakers may be staying at the Resid\u00e8ncia Erasmus Gr\u00e0cia<\/a>, which is located here<\/a>, in the heart of the Gr\u00e0cia district of Barcelona.<\/p>\n The Organizing Committee kindly asks any other registered participants to take care of their own housing. We usually work with\u00a0Residencia Erasmus Gracia<\/a>,\u00a0Residencia d’Investigadors<\/a> and Hotel Campus<\/a>, but many other places might be OK too.<\/p>\n COMMUTING BETWEEN BARCELONA AND THE UAB CAMPUS<\/p>\n The UAB campus has 3 railway stations: Bellaterra<\/a>, Universitat Autonoma<\/a> and Cerdanyola-Universitat<\/a>. The first two stations are operated by \u00a0FGC<\/a>, while the third is operated by\u00a0Renfe<\/a>. More precisely:<\/p>\n Pricing of public transport is classified in zones. So, for moving within Barcelona 1-zone tickets<\/em> are enough. For moving between Barcelona and the UAB campus, a 2-zone ticket<\/em> is needed. All tickets allow to commute\u00a0with any public transport \u00a0(\u00a0<\/span>Metro<\/a>, <\/span>Bus,<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Tram<\/a>\u00a0, Renfe and FGC), provided the total trip finishes in 1:15h for 1-zone trips, or 1:30h for 2-zone trips.
