Nathanial P. Brown. The K-computability project

Abstract: Together with Rufus Willett and Guoliang Yu, we’ve developed concrete outlines of major programs to show the K -theory of nuclear C ∗ -algebras is “computable” in the sense of things like the Kunneth Formula, the UCT or the Baum-Connes conjecture. These projects have concrete steps, some of which have been resolved for years and others for which we have reason for optimism. In this talk, I’ll outline the three major programs we’ve developed and get into details of one of them
