George Elliott, How close are simple C*-algebras?

Abstract: In this informal investigation, the question of when two (simple) C*-algebras are close is considered. While there are several notions of closeness for algebras, including at least one metric, the primary one to be considered will be isomorphism, or perhaps stable isomorphism.
An important stage in realizing this is just tracial closeness, again in a not necessarily unique sense.
