Former Postdoctoral Researcher for 3 years at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), ½ years at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, and 1½ years as BGSMath Senior Postdoc at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

My main area of interest is algebraic topology and its applications to group theory. I have been working with saturated fusion systems and how they relate to the Burnside ring of the underlying p-group, in particular those elements of the Burnside ring which are “stable” with respect to the fusion system. This relates to work by Ragnarsson and Stancu showing that saturated fusion systems are classified by the so-called characteristic idempotents in the double Burnside ring of the underlying p-group.
