Job description

The candidate is expected to have a strong general background in semiring theory and/or tropical geometry. Other profiles with expertise in any of the subareas of specific interest for any of the other members of the group will be considered as well. These include: modularity, rational points, non-archimedean geometry, algorithmic number theory, positivity of line bundlees, valuations, interpolation. The candidate is expected to take part in the research activities of the group (seminars, learning groups, etc).

Although this position does not have any teaching duties, there is the possibility of teaching a limited amount of hours if desired by the applicant. In addition to the salary, the project will fund justified travel or guest expenses.
