What is this?
This is the webpage of a regular research seminar on Mathematical Analysis, jointly organized between Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Barcelona, and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Researchers of the aforementioned institutions meet every Monday at 3PM (NOTE: Starting on September 2022, talks will be held on Thursdays at 3pm), either in the room A1 of the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (U.A.B. Campus) or in the Aula T2 of the Facultat de Matemàtiques i Informàtica of U.B. (downtown in Barcelona).
What do we do?
Our central research area is Mathematical Analysis and everything around it. This means that our interests include the following, among others:
- any kind of mathematical analysis (real analysis, complex analysis, harmonic analysis, geometric analysis, functional analysis, etc) ;
- any connections of mathematical analysis with other areas of pure mathematics (partial differential equations, differential geometry, probability, real and/or complex dynamics, calculus of variations, number theory, etc) ;
- any connection with applied and/or applicable mathematics (fluid mechanics, signal processing, inverse problems, etc)
Who can join us?
Everybody interested is welcome. Any researcher in the area is strongly encouraged to say HI when coming to Barcelona. If you want to participate, please contact us: Analisi at mat.uab.cat.
